I'm BRAND NEW at this yall!

Let me start by saying THANK YOU for clicking on my blog link! I am excited to start this sort of journey and share my life with yall.

 Every single day there are funny, touching, crazy, and just plain hard moments in my day. I'm hoping to connect with yall and let you know we are all in the same boat. The Lord has made our boat unsinkable and I'm sure yall will be hearing about that eventually. When kids embarrass you in public, husbands don't always take the trash out, and you have 3 miles until E in the gas tank you are not alone. It's life! And it happens to all of us. So take a deep breath, read the blog, laugh (at my expense if need be) and count your blessings.

God must be a coon hunter. He has to be. Several weeks ago my daughter and I were walking in the coon woods a couple hundred yards behind my husband and the band of coon hunting brothers. We could occasionally see their light bouncing back and forth between the trees and the moon was shining so brightly that if you let your eyes get good and adjusted to the night you could see like a dim hall light was on and you were a kid sneaking out of your room to raid the pantry in the middle of the night. Wasn't bright by any means, but it'll do. A story it's time to tell.

 May 7 is a big deal and I'll tell ya why. If ever God has moved and made Himself evident in my life it was yesterday, 2 years ago.  Last night I laid my head down beside my husband, but 2 years ago I hadn't been doing that...for months. If you've been around for more than the last few chapters of our life, you know this.  I had gone through so many different seasons of grief during the several months span of hurting and trying to find a silver lining, strength, my own two feet, what I thought maybe I "deserved", and just trying to make my world stop spinning out of control. In the hurt and confusion God was still there. He'd never left -- though nearly impossible for me to see at the time.  I clung to a religious routine and kept myself in a place where I was serving at church, but honestly felt like God was very far at times. Coming off of the holiday weekend I felt the need to share something that I am so sure is on so many of our minds. Ladies. Ladies. Ladies. Ladies.  No matter where you live there is a lot of body image pressure on us. Living anywhere hot with lots of water access and beaches has even more pressure.  Living in Florida means all summer and every holiday is spent on the water in some capacity. Even Christmas when it's warm enough...which is most years.. Being a female is tough enough, but being a female in bikini country is harder.  I am not a small person. Never have been and never will be. My BMI says I'm morbidly obese. Lol that stupid BMI scale really ticks me off.  Even though I am a confident person by nature, I've never felt 100% confident about my body...and most certainly never felt confident in a bathing suit. I hold my weight in my midsection and it's a genetic curse. I look like a marshmallow body with toothpicks for legs. Just picture that. But in the summer I
